Dermalogica Intensive Moisture Balance Review | Beauty

After being in hospital for over 2 weeks in March dare I say one's skin care game wasn't strong, It wasn't even weak actually..it was non bloody existent!  Once I was home I was able to get back to my routine and I knew I wanted to introduce a bit more moisture as I'd been sitting in front of a fan the whole time and It had left my skin dry and flaky.

I've been using Dermalogica Intensive Moisture Balance* which has been lovely on my skin. It's a thick-ish creamy consistency that I apply twice a day after I use my Sarah Chapman Skinesis Rapid Radiant Cleanse and my Clarins Toning Lotion for dry to normal skin. I find despite it being an intensive moisturiser, it massages into the skin with ease and I'm not left with a greasy oily finish. I have noticed my skin is less flaky which means my makeup looks less flaky which is good! Also my skin has been feeling soft and looking alot healthier so I will continue to use this as my everyday moisturiser until all the flakiness has gone.

I loved everything about using Dermalogica's Intensive Moisture Balance cream aside the smell. To me, It's smelt of the liquid you would blow bubbles out of, that fairy liquid-esqe soap smell which I'm not really keen on, but I can easily get past the smell for the payoff I get from using it. Certainly not enough to put me off though luckily!

  3. I know how drying hospitals can make your skin and lips! I've had a couple of dermalogica facials but never actually used any of the products on a regular basis. This cream sounds perfect for a good olde' pampering night! xo
