A New Look for Summer | outfit

The weather has been glorious lately and I'm one of those people that see a hint of sun and I'm stripping off into my vest tops and shades and rocking out florals and this year will be no different, only I'm going for a new look..

If you follow me on my other social media ( which you should all be doing! All my usernames are Fatbeautyx :P ) You will know I've been following Slimming World since July and while I've had several holidays and weeks off the diet I've currently dropped several dress sizes and I'm really starting to see my shape change and with that I'm becoming more daring with what I want to be wearing this summer and that's dresses. Being larger I've always shyed away from dresses, especially in Spring/Summer but lately I've been drawn to wearing them to show off my figure and one of the dresses I'm loving at the moment is this Poppy Print Wrap Dress* from Newlook. I'm wearing this in a size 20 and everything about it is beautiful aside 1 thing... As a wrap dress, they can always be a little hit and miss depending on ones boobs and though I have a nice handful, this dress didn't sit over them nicely, infact, it didn't sit over them at all haha, It gaped open perfectly had I of intended to wear a cami underneath then the cut would of been on the money but sadly, I didn't. The dress itself is the perfect length for me, It's that skater style where its elasticated just under the bust to help flatter and frame ones figure. I had these bright orange peep-toe pumps that have been waiting for an outfit to ruin but they seemed to work well with this bold print!

Despite having to stitch the dress together on the bust which only took a few seconds, I really do love this dress. It's super flattering and I just adore the print. It won everyones hearts at my brothers early birthday BBQ. I decided what better way to test this bad boy out than to wear it out and I felt fabulous the whole afternoon, there was french bowels, running around the garden and copious chocolate cake. It was the perfect outfit!

Oh god.. the cake... *whimpers* It tasted so gooood!

    1. Thanks Kiki, It's a different pattern to what I'd usually wear so it was nice trying something a little out of my comfort zone :) The shoes were so fun, they are just as bright as they look and it was so nice to finally get to wear them and for them to not look out of place!
