That Day | Fashion

Words can't describe the love I have for this dress, I had the pleasure of being sent some bits from the brand That Day which is stocked and retailed in Evans. I had seen That Day tweeting on the #psbloggers hashtag when they launched in Evans and I fell in love with this gorgeous yellow gathered waist dress* and I knew then it was only a matter of time before I'd have it..

That day is available in sizes 14-26 and take describes its brand as taking inspiration from the exquisite style and detail of the past to create beautiful plus size pieces in vintage designs with a modern touch. There are 13 pieces in their collection with more coming next year which I can't wait for! Here are some of their collection that I'm loving!

So, Lets talk a little about the Black Rose Print Dress*. I've worn it here with my favourite black leggings from Asda George  and a black cami underneath as it is sheer and paired it with my black Newlook Ankle Boots (similar here or here). I'm wearing a size 26 and I will say, I found it was slightly tight in my arm area, I had a spare few inches under my bust where the dress's shape frays out where I feel I could of gone a size smaller but I'd worry if going smaller would mean a smaller arm as I did find my movement was a little restricted. Aside from the arms, the dress was a nice length and with a slip dress under it I'd happily wear it with just tights but it was a really windy day and I wanted to wear it as more of a long floaty tunic. I have received so many lovely comments in this and if I'm honest, It's something I as a plus size woman I would shy away from wearing. The chiffon material with no give, the floaty-ness over my belly, I personally thought when I tried it on, it made me look larger then I was due to the shape. I almost wished there wasn't as much material floating around below my bust area but the longer I wore it, the more I liked the shape and the more people saw me in it, the more compliments I received. After seeing the photos I loved how it looked and really love the print. The fact I can wear this casually over leggings or with tights as a dress with a cute pair of kitten heals makes this a really versatile outfit!

I just cant... this dress is just *gets on ground and worships* I am absolutely besotted with this dress. I love the colour, I love the fit, I love the length, I love the arms.. It's 100% on the money. Actually, the only thing this dress doesn't have is availability in other colours haha It's the same cut as the Multi Floral Print Dress but I would love this bad boy in black or grey! I'm wearing a size 26 and I found this true to size, It's such a flattering dress and I even think the colour is flattering on me if I'm honest! The dress itself comes with a jersey slip inside which is perfect just to help smooth everything out. I wasn't wearing any shapewear and think the belly would of looked a bit more sculpted with it on but even without it, I found it didn't cling to my wobbly bits always a plus eh! I'm sure I'm not the only one who does this but when you go to buy something and its a little pricey, I always think of where I can wear it out to and divide it by that and with this dress its actually on sale atm from £65 to £45 and I admit even I'd think " ooo can I justify that?" Well since recieveing this dress I have worn it 4 times! Straight away that made the dress work out at almost £10! If you go to your local Evans make sure you try this beauty on as I promise you, It really is gorgeous.
