Benefit Brow Zings Shaping Kit in Dark | Beauty

Brows are a funny old thing aren't they?!, I spent my whole teenage life plucking, waxing and trying to get less hair because I had slugs for eyebrows 'gotta love them Italian genes! and now I spend my time filling my eyebrows in! Today's post I'm reviewing Benefit Brow Zings Shaping Kit in the shade dark.

Benefit Brow Zings has been on my 'to try' list for a while but while I can justify getting new shades of lippies each month getting multiple brow products just couldn't cut it and I said to myself  I'd finish my NYX Cosmetics brow cake in dark brown before purchasing another one, Also on my 'to try' list is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in Dark Brown. Anyway! I was just casually doing my Birchbox surveys and noticed I had over £20's worth of points to use so this beauty was purchased!

The Brow Zings comes in 3 shades and this is the darkest shade. I've naturally got quite dark hair as you can see from my ugly roots haha and I wanted to keep them looking natural when filling in and I'm pretty happy with the colour, It might be a tad too warm so it makes them look chocolatey but I'd rather them chocolatey than black sharpie style-lee :P. The quad comes with a wax on the left and the eyeshadow on the right as well as a hard angled mini brush, a blending mini brush and the diddiest pair of tweezers known to man. so cute!

Now don't worry if you aren't a pro at doing your eyebrows, I'm certainly not, but this actually comes with a great 3 part step by step which is super easy to follow. Now I know I'm not the only one who has ONE GOOD eyebrow, the other is always buggered so I do my best to try and make them both equally good baring in mind ladies.."Eyebrows and sisters, not twins!". My eyebrows could do with a little tidy up but you can see the brow on the left looks alot neater, it has structure and shape and just by using a tiny amount of product and following the steps it makes a huge difference to frame my eye! I'd also like just like to take a second to give Lara Lashes an epic shout out as this close up of my eyes really shows off their eyelash extensions! There is a blog post coming up as I'm giving them a full review ( wanna see how long they last and talk about shedding etc ) but it will be up soon!  What do you think?

  1. I got the brow zings for Christmas last year. I loved it, I still have loads of the powder left but I love the wax and that's all gone :-(

  2. I had this a few years back and I loved it, it was great but just a little bit time consuming! I love how natural your brows look x

  3. Ooh there is a subtle difference but the left brow definitely looks a lot more 'HD Brows' like! I think the colour would be a bit warm for me too, and the medium is too light so I won't be able to use Brow Zings, which is sad as it sounds great!
