How We Style #1 | Fashion

One thing I love about fashion is an item can be worn so many different ways and I love seeing an individuals style come out with accessories or layering. Myself and It's Em decided we would start a new series called " How We'd Style " and every few weeks we hope to bring to you us styling an outfit or picking several trends from a brand and showing you how we'd style the items to suit our shapes and tastes and whats trending!

After attending Plus North in Leeds in August I had the pleasure of checking out the brand Apples and Pears and tried on this gorgeous Green Textured Skater Dress | link and what with sporting my tan from Aiya Napa the colour just popped against my skin, I just HAD to get it.

I love skater dresses and this one has it all, the gorgeous textured fabric with a cute belt and round neckline and I just love that the skirt has a flare to it, It all plays a huge part to complement the figure which I think it would do on any shape. For those who might not want a daring green/blue colour the dress also comes in a bright pink and a black! Perfect with a cute black peeptoe slip on or even a cute ankle boot and black cardigan to crossover into A/W now its getting a bit colder.

I wore a size 26 which I found true to size and I found the length perfect sitting just under the knee. I personally wouldn't wear it tights or leggings but the gorgeous Emma purchased the same dress after seeing me in it and has styled it with leggings! You can go read her post here to see her styling the dress!

Have would you style Apples & Pears Textured Skater Dress?

  1. wow, you two just look gorgeous! I really love that colour, that and coral are my favourite two colours for the summer. I'm kind of gutted that I need to put all my summer clothes away until next year!
