Glossybox Event with Rituals | #MyGlossyRituals

Another week, And another AMAZING event! I was lucky enough to be invited to the Glossybox and Rituals event and took my beauty partner in crime Nicole from TLOABA. We stopped off for some munch first and went to Wagamama's, To start with we got the Pulled Pork and Duck Gyoza and Pork Ribs to go with our mains, I had the Chicken Ramen and Nicole had the Yaki Soba and to finish, we both got a White Chocolate and Ginger Cheesecake, Now seeing as this evening was all about pampering and rituals, It's a Ritual to get cheesecake if I always get cheesecake when I'm eating here..right? :P

The evening with Glossybox and Rituals didn't dissapoint. There were 3 stores over London hosting this intimate event with only 10 spaces open in each store so a HUGE thankyou for my invite and getting to bring Nicole along too. The Rituals store we attended was on Old Broad street in Moorgate and was a beautiful little shop. All the different families of scents on each of the walls with their signs showing you the ancient ritual behind using each product with its specific ingredients, With a lovely island in the middle of the shop with the treatment basin at the end which, Suffice to say, Nicole and I abused haha.

There are 6 families in the Rituals scents

The Story of Ayuveda - "This ancient philosophy is based on restoring inner harmony through the old practice of cleansing and nurturing your body and soul. Inspired by this centuries old philosophy, our Ayurveda collection blends the delicate fragrance of Indian Rose and nourishing Sweet Almond Oil. Find inner harmony and beauty will come naturally."

The Strory of Hammam - "This ancient custom inspired us to create a modern Hammam collection for your home. Enriched with revitalising Rosemary and Eucalyptus, the products cleanse, soften, and nourish the skin. Close your eyes and feel the warmth of your own personal wellness ceremony."

The Story of Laughing Buddha - " In ancient China, 1100 years ago, the Laughing Buddha was a famous monk whose legendary smile brought happiness wherever he went. For centuries, rubbing his belly has symbolised good luck and prosperity. This tradition is the inspiration for a collection of uplifting products that celebrate this positivity. Infused with Organic Mandarin and the revitalising power of Yuzu, our Laughing Buddha collection brings a touch of happiness to your everyday life."

The Story of Sakura - "For centuries, the Japanese have celebrated the annual flowering of the Cherry Blossom, or Sakura. This marks an awakening of nature and symbolises that beauty is momentary and life must be enjoyed. Inspired by this tradition, our Sakura collection blends the sweetness of Cherry Blossom with nourishing Organic Rice Milk, to make each day feel like a new beginning."

The Story of Tatsu - "For centuries, Japanese water ceremonies were the ultimate act of purification. According to ancient mythology, the dragon Tatsu is a water god symbolising purity and protection. This legend is the inspiration for our collection of products for men that cleanse and revitalise. Enriched with Organic Bamboo to empower and Japanese Mint to energise, our refreshing Tatsu range gives you an ancient wake-up call."

The Story of Tao -"Tao is an ancient Chinese philosophy centred on achieving perfect balance between Yin and Yang. Yin represents your inner world, while Yang represents external influences. Focusing on enriching Yin, our Tao collection blends . calming White Lotus, refreshing Chinese Mint, and soothing Green Tea to help you to feel balanced in your busy life."

The prosecco and nibbles were passed around the entire evening and all the staff were so attentitive and spent the whole evening telling us about each family and its scents and properties. From someone that has never heard about Rituals before, I can certainly say they are on my radar now! I can EASILY say with zero hesitation, Rituals are in the same league as Molton Brown, Rituals has now joined that league in my eyes and I ( and my skin after using Rituals ) couldn't be happier. Kim the manager got Nicole and I in the ritual chair and enjoyed a beautiful temple and neck massage using Qi - Stress relief serum which contains Ri Ri Yen and Chinese Peppermint, Great for de-stressing and headaches, It would be perfect if you travel alot or get those pesky niggly headaches. I'm on the computer all day and this would be perfect to keep in my desk as its slightly cooling and the smell is this amazing calming peppermint scent. Then it was over to Naj who gave me a lovely Hand massage from the same range using Mei Dao which is the body cream and finishing off the treatment with Yin which is a calming bed and body mist just spritz'd all over. mmm delightful.

All in all the event was amazing and It was great learning about a new brand that after one night I've fallen in love with. As you can see, I ended up purchasing the Himalaya Scrub which is a salt scrub containing Sweet Almond oil and Indian Rose and it smells absolutely amazing. I used it last night and just moistened my skin with a bit of water and began working it into my legs, thighs and arms, It's a gorgeous abrasive salt scrub and you can see the oils coming out while you work it into the skin. I have really bad circulation in my legs and wanted a scrub that would not only remove any dry or dead skin from my legs but would be nourishing also. I also grabbed the Touch of Happiness Rich Nourishing Body Cream which smellt of Sweet Orange and Cedar Wood, which contains Vitimin D and anti oxidents and the texture of this cream is so soft and velvet like it's just perfection for the skin. We got a lovely little goodie bag which contained the Happy Buddha foaming shower gel which smells of Organic Mandarin and Yuzu and also a mini Yogi Flow Indian rose and Sweel Almond oil Foaming Gel too along with some sample sachets.

And not forgetting, My Early June Glossybox that I can now post, I'll be doing a review of this soon as I've had lots of time to play with all my items! :)

Thanks to the amazing staff. ( A huge thankyou to Magali and Kim for an amazing evening )
