Last Thursday I was invited to my local Crabtree and Evelyn store for their #CrabtreeHandyTips event to come and try their products, be pampered and of course, have a cheeky glass of prosecco and nibbles.
We were one of the first to arrive and were warmly welcomed with some bubbly which went down a treat. All the ladies at the Kingston #CrabtreeHandyTips event were so friendly and chatty and it really made the evening! I can't remember the last time I laughed so hard!

We were guided round the shop and were told about all the different ranges and scents. The packaging was lovely and simple and the smell and oh my god the smellllll, everything smelt so amazing! There were loads of testers which was great as I personally love to try a product, feel the texture and smell it on my skin, So it was lovely that we could help ourselves and try everything. After we were shown around we were brought to the Handy Tips Tree which was amazing. It was a beautiful display in their front window with loads of tips and tricks, All things related to beauty. I popped my tip up and by doing so was entered into a little raffle and I tell you what, Some of the tips were amazing! I wish I had jotted them all down to share with you but I was summoned for my treatments, and lets be honest,  You know I practically ran over to the treatment bay to get these sausage fingers pampered haha :P

For my first treatment I chose the Lavender Hand Recovery Scrub, It felt amazing! I was surprised at how a little bit went along way. The scrub contains lavender oil which is what helps to sooth the skin and moisturise it, So you don't require any water to help buff it in, It smells mmmmm, god did it smell good, With its fresh lavender and lemon leaf aroma, it was almost musky, but not overpowering at all! It's great that 1 product can both exfoliate and moisturise! When the treatment was over I couldn't only feel the difference, but I could actually see it! So I floated over to my secondary treatment where I had the Lavender Ultra Moisturising Hand Therapy which is their award winning shea butter hand cream, It was so creamy and felt so moisturising I must admit I was expecting it to be a little greasy but I was pleasantly surprised that it didn't leave a residue and absorbed into my skin really well!

After being pampered upto the eyeballs and by this point I think I was on glass number 5? I saw it, My kryptonite... Nail Polishes! I literally fell in love, 3 colours caught my eye Clementine, Which is this gorgeous bright orange. Pistachio, which is this metallic lime-ish green which tbh, I want on my toes right now, and Sky this gorgeous light blue! We were lucky enough to get a little goodie bag which was a lovely touch after such an amazing event and in mine I got the Citron, Honey and Coriander Hand Therapy and so very luckily, the beautiful Sky Nail polish! I really love the polish, It's a lovely formula and after 2 coats I found it did really well with after 5 days only a few chips! You can see it above in my pictures :D

Before we left, I was so blown away with how soft and moisturised my hands and arms felt, I simply had to purchase the Lavender Scrub and moisturiser and they actually come in a set called the Lavender 60 second fix kit so I treated myself! I've been using the moisturising hand cream on my psoriasis in the evening and wearing a cotton glove to help soak it in and I must say, Although its not gone away, its not red and angry like usual and it's not as itchy which is great so I'm going to continue using that and using it with the Lavender Hand Recovery Scrub 2 times a week.

Lastly, as you may see by my last picture and if you follow me on twitter and instagram, I posted a lovely picture of the Tarocco Orange, Eucalyptus and Sage Bath and Body Duo which I won in their raffle! So a huge thank you again to Crabtree and Evelyn for a special evening and thank you to Hollie ( Prettybigbutterflies ) for her lovely company at the event!

Have you tried anything from Crabtree and Evelyn yet?
