My Plus Size Newlook Wishlist | Fashion

Happy Sunday Beauties!

I wanted to share with you my wishlist for Newlook. If I'm being honest, over the years I used to mainly shop in Dorothy Perkins but I can't remember the last time I even went in there. I pretty much live in Newlook items, and this is of course in their Inspire range. Sizes going from 18 - 28

Now me personally, I've got Newlook Inspire range down to an art. Any coats, I'm a size 26, Any jeans I'm a 26 because I'm a mini Simon cowell and hoist my trousers over my tummy, I cant stand it under my belly as I think it just looks ridiculous on myself so I opt for a larger size so I can get them over my tummy ( meaning its covering my beautiful large bottom, thighs AND tummy! ) If I want a tee-shirt that's normal cotton, I'm a size 22, 24 if i want it a little baggy. Jumpers I'd go with a 24 but then it will stretch a little like this Grey Love sequin one below so probably a 22 and dresses, Depending on the shape either 24 or 26.

I don't mind telling my size, I'm 100% honest with you all. As a larger lady reading this, you may have never purchased from Newlook before but may now be considering it and to get an accurate guideline of sizes you can compare yourself to moi in any pictures :)

onto the categories!

Now that winter is coming in, I really want a couple of jumpers. Now being a larger lady I already feel I have enough padding to keep me warm and I'm usually everyone's furnace anyway so I never like wearing big thick ones. These 2 are light and fun and look super soft. Jackets are another one I can never get right. My current coat is a black simple parker jacket and its perfect in terms of thickness. But its getting a bit old now and I wanted to upgrade and I've been toying with a leather jacket so have seen this one and I want it!

I think this time of year alot of people stop wearing skirts and bust out the trousers or leggings but I'm all about rocking a skirt with tights and some little booties like above, I've also added some earrings if I'm putting my hair up and this bag which I LOVE ( it will be mine! ) and of course, what would winter be without some cute new socks to keep the tooties warm!

It's only been this year where I have discovered my love for dresses and casting aside my worry of tree trunk legs. Back in December 2012 I first discovered Tess Munster. She was a large plus sized woman and absolutely fabulous. She inspires so many woman and she inspired me. She wore clothes that I wouldn't be caught dead in, Id be worried all my wobbly bits ( and there is alot of them ) would hang out and people would laugh at me.. and it was only after I saw her embrace her figure, and see her look fabulous that I thought, well I want to look fabulous too, and it was almost a process in my head, like I had opened a door to self love and I started purchasing a few dresses, I had not long been with Mr Beard and he loved me in a dress ( still does :P ) and my confidence just grew! I got lots of compliments because of course it hung to my curves and that in effect made me wear them more. For me, the patterns above are certainly not something I'd usually go for, but they seem great to wear with say ooo a little leather jacket if im popping into town haha :P I usually stay clear of anything loud or floral, but these colours and patterns just looked gorgeous and with the right bit of lippy and hairstyle I just know I could rock them all!

I cant promise that I wont be purchasing everything listed above because I more then likely will haha, but let me know what you think, what you are loving atm and If I end up getting them, will be doing ootd posts in them if you want to see?!?!

  3. I am a big fan of the New Look Inspire range too, sometimes it can be a little hit and miss but I find purchasing online is easier as the several stores in my area have tiny sections for the Inspire collection. I am loving the Jumpers and Leather Jacket, I may or may not be about to browse their website now, haha. I have also been eyeing up the Triangle Stud Earrings and the Teal dress. I'll be keeping my eyes peeled for upcoming outfit posts!

  4. Hey Charlotte! I always purchase online. I'll spend over £50 a time which enables you to get it send to your local and I go in when I get an email to say my goodies have arrived!

Their jewellery for me is a little hit and miss as I have facial piercings I only tend to wear silver like my face metal (lol) but I have black bars if I wanna wear gold, just think over the years I've gone off it a bit! The teal dress is a winner hun! They have the same style in a burgandy scarlet colour which is also sexual, but I do love a teal!
